"A Beautiful Sight"
This was the first snow in Korea to stick! It wasn’t very much, maybe about a centimeter. My friend Sunny told me there is this funny and somewhat romantic tradition that some young Koreans do during the first snow. A couple makes a promise to meet at a certain place the night of the first snow. The couple usually picks a place like a coffee shop and then you meet up with your date. But what is considered the first snow is the real question. But whatever the couple decided they know to go to that certain place. It’s cute and romantic. But Sunny said nowadays it’s just an excuse to meet up at a love hotel. I guess it’s just another way to stay warm.
